Our Story

Built by pet parents, for pet parents

RaisedPaw was born out of frustration with generic, unverified pet advice. We set out to build the resource we wished had existed when we got our first dog — honest, evidence-based, and completely free.

Our Mission

Evidence first, always

Too much pet advice on the internet is recycled, unverified, or quietly sponsored. We built a process where every claim is sourced, every guide is reviewed by a veterinary professional, and our editorial choices are never influenced by advertiser relationships.

We participate in affiliate programmes to fund our free content — but we only recommend products we'd give to our own pets. disclosure policy

All content reviewed by licensed veterinarians

Zero advertiser influence on editorial decisions

Sources cited in every health-related guide

Tools built on WSAVA-referenced formulas

Full affiliate disclosure on every page

🐾

Started in 2019

What began as a personal blog about training a hyperactive Border Collie mix grew into a trusted resource used by hundreds of thousands of pet parents worldwide.

Our Standards

How we work

🔬
Evidence first

Every claim we publish must be sourced. We cite peer-reviewed research, AAFCO guidelines, and veterinary nutrition literature — not other blog posts.

👩‍⚕️
Vet reviewed

All health-related content is reviewed by a licensed veterinarian before publication and updated when clinical guidelines change.

💸
Transparent monetisation

We participate in affiliate programmes. Every partnership is disclosed clearly. Advertisers cannot pay for editorial placement or recommendations.

📊
Data-driven tools

Our calculators use the same RER-based formulas recommended by the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA).
